Criteria

Grades
88 or better for the year
85 or better in Q4

Attendance
Cannot exceed 12 absences - unexcused or excused.  Absences in excess of 12 will require attendance school work, and automatically require you to take the final despite a high final grade in the class.
 
Promptness
Cannot exceed 8 tardies to class - unexcused or excused.  Tardies in excess of 8 will automatically require you to take the final despite your grade.

Papers
All four formal writing assignments - these are the major papers - must be handed in on time.  If anyone of them is late, you will be required to take the final despite your final grade.
